Who are we?

ncskleuren.nl is the webshop of the Netherlands Colour Institute (Stichting Nederlands Kleur Instituut), the specialist in the Natural Color System (NCS). We offer a complete range of NCS colour fans, design tools and professional workshops for architects, designers and colour consultants.

Our Mission

We make colour communication simple and effective. With NCS, professionals worldwide can consistently specify and communicate colours, regardless of the production or display method.

The NCS System

The Natural Color System (NCS) is based on how the human eye perceives colours. The system describes colours based on:

Blackness - The amount of black in the colour
Chromaticness - The colour intensity
Hue - The colour direction (Yellow, Red, Blue, Green)
