Right of Withdrawal (herroepingsrecht)

1. General right of withdrawal

The buyer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receipt of the product without giving reasons.
The withdrawal must be submitted in writing or via another durable medium (for example e-mail) to ncskleuren.nl (Stichting Nederlands Kleur Instituut), stating the order number and the items concerned.
The withdrawal period starts on the day on which the buyer receives the product or, in the case of multiple products, on the day on which the buyer received the last product.

2. Exclusions from the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is excluded for:

Colour samples (such as NCS colour samples in sizes A9, A7, A4)
NCS design tools (such as NCS Atlas, NCS Block, NCS Album)
Custom-made products (for example colour fans)
Digital products (such as software or digital downloads that have been downloaded)

These products cannot be returned unless they are defective or damaged upon receipt.

3. Returns

If the buyer exercises the right of withdrawal, the procedure for returning the products is as follows:

Step 1: Register the return Send an e-mail to info@ncskleuren.nl. State in the e-mail:

The order number
The items you wish to return
The reason for the return

Step 2: Package the product properly Preferably in the original packaging, to prevent damage during transport.

Step 3: Return label

For a defective or damaged product: you will receive a return label from us (free return)
For other reasons: the return costs are at your expense

Step 4: Send the product to ncskleuren.nl (Stichting Nederlands Kleur Instituut), returns department Postal address (provided when the return is registered)

Step 5: Keep the proof of postage Until you have received confirmation that your return has been processed.

4. Refund

After receipt of the returned product and assessment of whether it meets the return conditions, ncskleuren.nl (Stichting Nederlands Kleur Instituut) will refund the full purchase amount within 30 days.
The refund includes the product amount and the shipping costs for the outbound shipment (unless excluded).
The refund is made via the original payment method.

5. Cost of return shipment

The costs of the return shipment are at the buyer's expense, unless the product is defective or damaged.
In the event of a defect or damage, the return shipment is free of charge for the buyer.

Specific points of attention

No right of return for:

Digital products: Downloads that have already been downloaded cannot be returned
Colour samples and design tools: Excluded from the right of withdrawal (see point 2)
Custom-made products: No right of return, unless defective

Right of return does apply to:

Colour fans (standard collections): Returns possible within 14 days
Colour books: Within 14 days, provided undamaged and unused
Accessories: Within 14 days, provided undamaged and in original packaging
Measuring equipment: Within 14 days, provided complete and in original condition
